Volusia County SKYWARN is an organization affiliated with the National Weather Service, set up to train people to act as storm spotters and report back to the NWS when severe weather occurs. During a SKYWARN activation, a net will be held on the Volusia ARES repeater at 147.240 (PL 123.0).

Basic, Advanced, and SKYWARN Net Control classes on occasion. Please contact one of the coordinators for information about the next round of classes to be held.
