Volusia ARES also holds amateur radio license testing exams the third Saturday of every odd month at 1:00 PM before the regular Volusia ARES meeting. The exams are held at the same address given above. Talk-in will be on the 147.240 T123. All are welcome.

The exam fee for each testing session is $15. You also need to bring a photo ID and a copy of any currently held amateur radio license. You may take any or all of the available elements (Technician, General, or Extra) during an exam session for this fee. If you desire to retest any or all exam elements, it must be considered a new session and a new fee will apply. All fees are used to cover the costs to administer and process exams by the ARRL and to process license applications by the FCC.

U.S. 92 between Deland and Daytona Beach, turn north on Indian Lake Rd., turn west on Tiger Bay Rd.

The Fire Training Facility is approximately 1/4 mile west of Indian Lake Rd. Parking is at the rear of the facility.
